Stephen presided over the development and implementation of nationally recognised school business leadership professional standards and led the transition from the National Association of School Business Management to the Institute of School Business Leadership.

Rob is the CEO of the Inspire Partnership, a group of 9 schools based in Croydon, Greenwich and Medway. He is also the author of ‘A Manifesto for Excellence in Schools’. He is a member of ASCL’s Council and serves on a number of trust boards, including The Brilliant Club.

Lee has been with the Institute of School Business Leaders (ISBL) for two and a half years. During this time, he has led the revision of the Professional Standards and introduced the self-assessment and accreditation schemes. Prior to joining ISBL, Lee worked for 13 years in education, teaching and leading Business and Economics in the secondary and FE sectors.

Lana has over 10 years’ experience working in education specialising in business operations and commercial. Proud to work for Nexus Multi Academy Trust in South Yorkshire as Head of Business Transformation, she began her career in banking before moving into a role in education as finance officer in a primary school. Lana later transitioned to school business leadership before joining Nexus Multi Academy Trust’s central team in 2022.

As Senior Commercial Lead within Crown Commercial Service, John is responsible for the Non-Clinical Staffing (NCS) and Supply Teachers and Temporary Staffing (STaTS) agreements, which aim to provide public sector bodies with access to a range of recruitment agencies to source
quality temporary workers compliantly whilst achieving value for money.

Emma Hollis is CEO of the National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers (NASBTT) which promotes high-quality schools-led programmes of training, education and professional development of teachers. Emma was previously Head of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) for a School-Centred ITT provider.

Professor of Educational Leadership
Colin Diamond has worked in education leadership roles for 40 years. He started his career in inner-London secondary schools as a humanities teacher and soon began to specialise working with students with additional needs. He trained as both a teacher and child psychotherapist to learn how to work effectively with the students whilst also teaching exam classes up to A level.
