Alex Green is the Head of Let’s Go Zero at Ashden, a leading climate solutions charity based in London. She spearheads the Let’s Go Zero 2030 campaign, which empowers UK schools to collaborate towards achieving zero carbon goals. As the leader of the national Let’s Go Zero Climate Advisors network, Alex also plays a key role on the Department for Education’s User Group for the Sustainability & Climate Change Strategy. 

Previously, she managed Ashden’s prestigious Sustainable School Awards and led the peer-to-peer LESS CO2 programme. With a Master’s in Environmental Management from the University of Cape Town, Alex’s career has included running an environmental business awards scheme for a local authority, helping small businesses reduce carbon emissions, and working in regulatory roles at the Environment Agency.
