Kevin Draisey is an experienced procurement leader with extensive expertise across strategic procurement, contract management, negotiation, spend management, financial analysis, and commercial best practice. He currently serves as Head of Schools Commercial Partnerships at the Department for Education, leading national programmes that support schools to buy well and achieve better value. Prior to this role, Kevin was Head of Procurement Operations for the Get Help Buying for Schools service within the DfE. Before joining the department, he was Head of Procurement and Contract Management at North Yorkshire County Council, where he also chaired the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Procurement Group and served as a member of the Local Government Association’s National Advisory Group for Procurement.
